A team of scientists from Winnipeg have made a groundbreaking discovery in the treatment of the Ebola Virus. Dr. Gary Kobinger tells CJOB they've come up with a drug that's 100 pecent effective in tests on animals when used within 24-hours of contact with the disease:
Kobinger says the challenge now is to produce the same drug acceptable for human use. He says that will be even more work considering the further testing and regulatory approvals the drug will have to go through.
