Actor Rob Lowe's tweet Tuesday night has diverted the attention away from the actual movie he's making in Winnipeg right now. Winnipeg's Manager of Films and Special Services Kenny Boyce tells CJOB Lowe is playing the prosecutor in the tragic case of Casey Anthony:
Boyce says that film has got another couple of weeks of production.
Meanwhile, Premier Greg Selinger weighed in Wednesday on the "perceived slight" of Winnipeg in Lowe's tweet. He says Winnipeg is no hell hole.
Lowe has tried to put the matter in context sugesting the "hell hole" reference was in respect to the sports bar he was in, and not the City of Winnipeg.
