A suspect wanted in connection with drugs and weapons in Portage la Prairie has turned herself in. Shannon Krawetz presented herself at RCMP headquarters in Winnipeg Monday. She was released, and will make a court appearance July 9th. As part of Project Demerit, investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Portage la Prairie May 16th. Krawetz was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, producing a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon.
