A puppy rescued from a dumpster in the 1000 block of Jefferson Avenue last week is doing just fine.
But Leland Gordon of Winnipeg's Animal Services says leaving a puppy in a dumpster is cruel and inhumane. He says if you can't care for an animal, there are plenty of animal shelters and rescue groups that provide a better option. By the way, there are people lined up who want to adopt the pup... named Rayne.
