A group of four brothers from B.C. will be making their way through Winnipeg on Sunday, on bike, as they travel across Canada from Vancouver to Halifax.
Scott MacKinnon tells CJOB News he and his brothers are making the journey for their grandfather who also attempted to make the trip before losing his battle with Parkinson's Disease.
"Our goal is to raise $1.00 for every kilometre that the four of us brothers ride and that total would be $4075.00 and we're about half way there," says MacKinnon.
The brothers left Vancouver on May 19 and hope to arrive in Halifax on July 19.
All money raised will be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
