A 64 year old man was getting emergency surgery after a pedestrian vehicle accident Friday afternoon near Marion and Des Meurons.
The accident happened just before 2:30 and resulted in the shutdown of area streets for several hours.
The victim suffered head injuries
Meantime,
just before 12 noon three people were taken to hospital following a two vehicle crash at Lagimodiere boulevard and Warman road..
Emergency responders had to use the jaws of life to free one of the victims.. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition but was later upgraded to stable..
The two other people taken to hospital suffered minor injuries..
