Mike Russo of Environment Canada tells CJOB that region is expecting a significant amount of rainfall by Friday afternoon.
Russo expects scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Red River Valley and Winnipeg regions into Friday. The most intense part of the system will effect the Interlake part of the province, north of the city..
