Westgate Mennonite Collegiate can go ahead with a plan to expand the school after the city's appeal committee rejected an appeal from neighbours today.
Neighbours were concerned the expansion would open the door for the school to increase their enrolment and clog the street with even more traffic. They say most students do not live in the area of the school.
The school says they have no plans to increase enrolment and that the expansion would include a fitness room, an atrium and it would make the school more accessible.
