Two suspects one 18-years old, the other 24... are facing charges of assault with a weapon after a cab driver was stabbed early Thursday morning. Winnipeg Police were called to William and Isabel around 3 o'clock. A 53-year cab driver had parked his car when a woman climbed into his cab. A man joined her a short time later. Police say he pulled out a knife and stabbed the driver. The pair took off on foot. The driver was able to flag down members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. He's in stable condition. Officers caught up to the suspects a short time later. Two knives were recovered.
