Campers well behaved this May long weekend
CJOB News Team reporting
5/19/2012

Despite an overcast sky the number of people out camping this weekend is up from last year and so far, a parks spokesperson says campers are being well behaved.

Don Hallett tells CJOB News, snow in the forecast north  of the city is having a bit of an impact on some sites in the northern part of the province

"Our dedicated Manitobans are still out there. In the east and central regions our number are up to 72 per cent of occupancy. With snow in the north, numbers are a little bit down," says Hallett.

He adds, some sites are still available and with warmer temperatures on the way anyone looking to book a site can do so by calling 1-888-4U2-CAMP.
