May long weekend begins with officers investigating a pair of stabbings

Police are looking for suspects following a couple of stabbings so far this weekend.
 
Monica Stothers with Winnipeg Police tells CJOB News the first happened shortly after 8:30 Friday night when a 19 year-old man was approached by a man  in the 600 block of Main Street.
 
"We are looking for a male suspect and the suspect is described as a male, aboriginal in appearance, about 30-40 years old with short curly hair and goatee facial hair,"says Stothers.
 
The second stabbing happened just before 3:00 Saturday morning  in the 3000 block of Ness avenue when a 25 year-old man was attacked.
 
Police say they are now looking for three people.
 
The first suspect is described as being a white male, about 6'1" tall with a skinny build weighing about 165 lbs and a bald head.
 
The second suspect is a white man about 6'3" tall.
 
The third person of interest is a white female with a thin build and brown hair.
 
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
