A Winnipeg man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after admitting to defrauding more than 20 victims out of over 6 million dollars. 52 year old former financial advisor Jack Wladyka pled guilty Thursday to the crimes that occurred over an 8 and a half year period. Court heard Wladkya convinced victims to invest before sticking the money into personal accounts or using it to pay off debts. The judge has also ordered him to pay back over 3 million dollars to Dundee Wealth Management, the company he managed.
