Selkirk's mayor Larry Johannson has some concerns about a criminal code review board ruling late Thursday afternoon.
The board is allowing Vince Li, the man who beheaded Tim McLean a Greyhound bus passenger in 2008, to go on escorted trips into Selkirk.
Johannson told CJOB it was an horrific act and first and foremost his thoughts are for the mother of the victim..
The Criminal Code review board has ruled Li can leave the grounds of the Selkirk mental health hospital where he has been kept since he was found not criminally responsible for McLean's death.
