Vince Li will be able to take 30-minute walks away from the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. It's one of two proposals put forward this past Monday to the Manitoba Review Board. The other is to give Li extended privileges within the Centre. Neither measure was apposed by the Crown. On Monday, doctors told the Board.. Li has made considerable progress. He's been enjoying 60 to 90 minute walks at the Health Centre. Now he'll be allowed to walk in Selkirk with supervision from a peace officer and a nurse. The walks will start out 30 minutes long, but will get longer over time to full days.
