The Province is starting construction to turn the Christie building on Notre Dame into a one-stop shop for families of children with special needs. Cheryl Susinski, the Executive Director of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children - which is moving from its Wellington Crescent location says it will save a lot of time and hassle for parents to have everything in one place.
Services will include rehabilitation, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder outreach, and autism, communication disorders and respite services. The facility is expected to be completed in 2014.
