Two people have been charged with assault in The Pas, after capturing their own crime on video and posting it on Facebook. The video that landed on Facebook 10-days ago.. showed a group of people taunting a drunk outside the Legion. The intoxicated man walked towards the group when he was called and was punched in the face. The blow knocked him to the ground. RCMP say as the man lie bleeding, the people around him were laughing.. talking about how they caught the moment on video. Angered and disgusted, concerned citizens brought the video to the attention of the police. While those responsible took it off Facebook, it had already been copied and turned over to investigating officers. 29-year old Jean-Rock Plante and 30-year old Blake Harry Constant of The Pas have been charged with assault. They'll appear in court June 18th.
