Jocelyn Lavoie hopes to get her suitcase back but she needs your help..
When her daughter picked her up at the James Armstrong Richardson airport in Winnipeg last Friday her suitcase was placed into the trunk of her vehicle, and they left. Unfortunately the trunk release button was accidentally hit, causing a suitcase to fall out onto the roadway. But Lavoie told CJOB they didn't know the suitcase was gone at that point..
The suitcase has a Green plastic finish with artistic background of a New York City scene, including a yellow taxi cab. It includes Lavoie's home address and phone number in Quebec where she lives.. She says the suitcase contains some very personal items including a personal journal, and memorial scrapbook containing photos featuring her husband who died last May.
If you can help out Lavoie call the Winnipeg Police at 986-3061 or Lavoie's daughter Nadine Konyk in Winnipeg at 786-4483.
