If you want to see an area of Winnipeg like you've never seen it before, you're invited to Portage Place mall to see a new 3D model of downtown. U of M Architecture students build the wooden model that runs from Ellice to the Assinboine River. north-south, and from Main Street to Memorial east-west.
Department head Richard Milgrom says the idea was to look at downtown Winnipeg as as neighbourhood, not just as a destination. You'll find the model on the mall's second floor.
