Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz believes the civic administration has better transparency when it comes to councillors receiving gifts.. like free Jets tickets.
As for Jets tickets in particular, the Mayor says he has his own seasons tickets that he bought and paid for himself. The owner of the Winnipeg Goldeyes says the few times he's able to see his baseball team.. he usually just walks around, maybe grabbing an empty seat or meandering up to the press box for awhile.
