A 51-year old man from Ashern is facing drug charges after RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Ashern Thursday afternoon. Officers found 83 marijuana plants in an indoor grow-op. The street value of the seizure is about 83-thousand dollars. The suspect is facing charges of production of a controlled substance, and possession for the purpose of trafficking. He's been released but has a court day in Ashern in July.
