The Brunel family of Ste. Rose told their remarkable story Thursday afternoon. Rob and his wife Erin are helping their 2-year old son Larsen battle leukemia. But while they were in Winnipeg for treatment this past weekend, their house burnt down. Erin told Global News Winnipeg, it's important to concentrate on what's important.
It was their four year old daughter Myley who noticed smoke in the home. Everyone got out safety, but the building was gone in 20 minutes.
