A bill introduced Thursday in the Manitoba Legislature will require school boards to adopt codes of conduct for trustees. It will also allow school boards to discipline trustees who breach that code of conduct. The Manitoba School Boards Association supports the measures. Similar rules are already in place in Ontario and Nova Scotia.
