While the province sets up a police commission for the City of Winnipeg - a commission which would have a hand in choosing a police chief - Mayor Sam Katz tells CJOB the city isn't about to sit around and wait for that to happen....
Katz says the city has already started the process. Cheif Keith McCaskill will formally step down in December.
