The Public Utilities Board has approved a 20% reduction in Primary Gas rates effective May 1.
The new rate will be 8.8 cents per cubic metre, down from 11.05. The Board also approved the removal of rate riders on Transportation and Distribution rates.
Combined, it will mean a decrease on your annual bill of 8.6% or $67 a year.
