A Winnipeg city councillor is asking the province to give Manitoba municipalities the revenue from an increase in vehicle registrations.
Deputy Mayor Justin Swandel told CJOB's nighthawk the province should dedicate the money to municipalities.
The Manitoba government's 35 dollar increase in registration fees beginning July 1 would generate 20 million dollars a year from Winnipeg vehicles.
