UPDATE: Damage Estimate
An early morning blaze in the 600 block of McMillan Avenue resulted in a 47 year-old man being taken to hospital and later released. There were no other serious injuries.
Two homes were destroyed in the fire. Damage is estimated at a $1-million between the two homes, $600,000 to one and $400,000 to the other.
The Arston Strike Force is looking into the cause.
