The provincial government provided some detail on where the extra 2.5 cents per litre Manitobans are paying at the pump will go.
More than 100 bridges, most damaged by flooding, and 24-hundred kilometres of roads will be repaired or built with the money set aside in the 2012 budget. The cost - $589 million dollars from the provincial budget.
About 40 kilometres of the Trans Canada Highway will be re-paved and some safety improvements will be made to the Perimeter Highway.
Some of the money will also go to flood repair projects, like culvert repairs and drainage improvements.
