Charges laid after grenade launcher found
VANCOUVER/CKNW (AM980)

Charges have now been laid in connection with the seizure of a grenade launcher found in a Nanaimo hotel room.


28 year old Dustin Derreck Pacheo of Nanaimo is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and unauthorized possession of an explosive device.


Police are still trying to figure out where the weapon came from.


They've confirmed it was not taken from the Canadian millitary.
