Vancouver police are hunting for the suspect in a kidnapping case from Tuesday.
Nineteen-year old Harmeet Singh Dadwan is wanted in connection with the unlawful confinement, assault and robbery of a 17-year old boy.
"It's alleged that shortly before 5p.m. on Tuesday, Dadwan and a second male approached the victim on the street in Southeast Vancouver. The two men forced the victim into a car and they drove to another location where they picked up a third suspect. While in the vehicle, the victim was allegedly beaten by Dadwan and the other two men."
Constable Brian Montague says the victim also had a gun held to his head.
The kidnapping was not random, but the motive is not yet clear.
