A BC cabinet minister who staved off a recall campaign after the last provincial election isn't worried about a new poll showing there's little trust in the Liberal government.

Ida Chong, the minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, says she's still confident she'll be re-elected next year, even though the latest Ipsos Reid poll shows 67 per cent of voters across this province don't believe they're getting good value from her government.

"It is a snapshot at a particular point in time and what will matter is that, come election time, when people will weigh all the factors that have been in place. We will continue to make sure we have a strong economy and I think taxpayers will see that come next spring."

BC is tied for worst in the country with Quebec.
