The BC Coroners Service has confirmed a public inquest will be held into the death of Angus David Mitchell.
Mitchell was shot by police May 30th, hours after a warning went out for the public to be on the lookout for him.
Mitchell was wanted for shooting his former landlord, and was a person of interest in the shooting of two people at a Burnaby sushi restaurant.
No date for the inquest has yet been set.
