The Vancouver Canucks are sticking with coach Alain Vigneault.
They've agreed to a contract extension.
The Canucks have been dynamite in the regular season the last couple of years.
But getting bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the L-A Kings was tough for the faithful to swallow.
There had been speculation Vigneault would wind up in Montreal if things fell apart in Vancouver, but he's signed on and will remain with the Canucks.
It's a two year contract extension.
GM Mike Gillis says Vigneault is the most successful coach in Canucks history.
