Vancouver police are seeking help in discovering what happened to two men found lying in a lane near Fraser Street and East 50th Avenue last Sunday morning.

A 44-year-old man remains in critical condition.

The other man, 45 years old, has been released from hospital after being treated for head injuries.

Police were called about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday about a fight in the south lane of the 500 block of East 50th and found the men down about 150 metres apart.

Both live in the area, but police haven't been able to determine if they know each other.

Police think alcohol may have been a factor.
