The RCMP are investigating a large tire-slashing spree in the Burnaby Mountain area.
Inspector Tim Shields says 100 cars were targeted overnight in enclosed, above-ground parking lots for four apartment buildings between Gaglardi Way and North Road.

"We believe that it occured overnight, we don't know who did it, we don't know how many suspects there are, we have done a video canvass, we've been looking for any video surveillance, but unfortunately there isn't any."

Mounties have reached out to an area high school, to see if anyone knows or has heard anything.
Shields says the impact of having 100 families lose the use of their vehicles is far-reaching.
