Two people have been killed in a crash on Highway One near the Cassiar Tunnel.
The freeway's exit to McGill street remains blocked off where a single car crashed through a barrier and rolled down a steep embankment around 2am.
Both bodies are now draped with a single white tarp as investigators take measurements.
No word yet on what may have caused the crash but the vehicle was most likely speeding.
Two sections of the concrete barrier were completely ripped out as the car with such force it landed on the driver's side on the road.
