Toronto/AM640 News

Two hands were discovered Friday afternoon in a Mississauga Park by a Police Search team.

Peel Police will continue to search Hewick Meadows Park until 8 Friday evening and then resume a search Saturday morning.

A woman's head in the Credit River Thursday; the discovery comes after hikers came across what was determined to be a severed foot of a female a day earlier.

The foot is believed to be that of a female because investigators said there was yellow nail polish on the toenails.

Tests are being done to determine if the head and foot are from the same person, however Peel Police have said the size of the body parts are likely not those of a child. Police are still trying to determine how the body parts made their way into the river, and have said that foul play is likely suspected.

The OPP are assisting in the investigation, and according to initial reports, the severed foot is believed to have been taken from a body within the last few weeks.
