Toronto Fire Services tells AM640 the fire is now out, after a 2 alarm blaze engulfed an apartment building at 1742 Wilson near Highway 400.
Crews responded to fire alarms on the second floor of the building, finding plumes of smoke emanating from the windows. It’s estimated the blazed caused least 100,000 dollars in damage.
No one was injured, but many apartment owners were trapped on their balconies. They still don’t know what caused the fire.
