Toronto Police have upgraded charges against two 20 year old Toronto men, in the death of a 22 year old man in July.
Officers were called to an area near McCowan & the 401 on July 22, for an assault in progress.
Upon arrival, 22 year old Nirosan Thillainathan was found suffering from wounds, and pronounced dead at the scene.
In the subsequent days, 20 year old Hussan Saeed, and 20 year old Zishan Malik were arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
On Wednesday, police upgraded the charges to First Degree Murder.
Both men will make a court appearance on Monday morning.
