Captain John has been given a reprieve by the City. John Letnik is the owner of the iconic seafood shack, “Captain John’s Restaurant” which has been a staple of the Toronto since 1975.
John though stopped paying property tax 5 years ago and was given until today to move out. The City of Toronto has given John a break and will be holding a meeting in the next few weeks trying to find someone to buy the property.
