Member's of Peel's public works department have reached a tentative agreement with the region.
CUPE Local 966 says if the deal is ratified by both parties public services could resume as early as Wednesday to put and end to the 12 week old strike.
The workers will vote to ratify the contract this Friday and the details of the deal will be released after that.
The union's president Mary Jo Falle hopes the regional council will hold its ratification on Monday.
