The City of toronto will study sewers in four major regions that are susceptible to flooding after the heavy downpours that fell on sunday and flooded people's basements.
The 4 areas include The Bayview extension south of Pottery Rd., the Beaches area of Queen St. from Woodbine Ave. to Wineva Ave., Yonge St. and York Mills Rd and the Rosedale Valley Rd area.
The city says they are still studying what happened on the weekend but believe the same amount of water could have fallen over a longer period of time and it would have been ok.
