The Deputy Mayor is clearing the air on his stance on raising a family in the downtown core.
While he says it's not how he'd choose to raise his family, Doug Holyday says his comments on raising kids in a condo, is all in reference to building guidelines.
Holyday, joining AM640's Arlene Bynon Show, criticizes councillor Adam Vaughan's idea to mandate the number of three-bedroom units in new developments.
Holyday says the move should be up to the developer, based on demand, rather than a city bi-law.
Holyday also adds he has nothing againt those who raise their families in condos.
