York Police have charged a man with attempted murder after a shooting near Bayview and Major MacKenzie in Richmond Hill just after noon.
Police say it was a domestic incident and the victim is recovering in hospital in stable condition after being shot in the stomach.
Police say the accused didn't put up a fight and was arrested at the home where the incident took place.
