Peel Regional Police have made an arrest, following the investigation into the suspicious death of a three year old Mississauga girl in September of last year.
The child, Niyati Jha, was taken to a clinic on September 20, and subsequently transferred to Sick Kids last year, where she was placed on life-support.
In the following days, the child died from brain and head injuries.
Today, 35 year old Nandini Jha was charged with second degree murder, and will made a court appearance on Tuesday.
