Mississauga Mayor Suggests New Taxes To Fund Infrastructure

The province's infrastructure is aging, traffic congestion is on the rise and there's little money to keep the roads mantained. 

Mississauga's, Hazel McCallion, says GTA mayors need to come together and find ways to raise  $50 billion towards infrastructure costs. 

Some options include, income tax, sales tax and the vehicle registration tax. 

McCallion plans to consult with Mississauga residents about the issue.
