A 23 year old man, known to police, has been arrested and charged following a shooting at the Eaton Centre on Saturday night.
At a news conference this afternoon, Christopher Husbands was identified as the sole suspect in the case, with police announcing the suspect turned himself in around 2:30 Monday morning.
Husbands is now facing a charge of First Degree Murder, along with six counts of attempted murder.
Police also say the suspect was under house arrest at the time of the shooting, on separate charges, and was not for any reason allowed to leave his home.
A 23 year old man remains in critical condition in hospital, while a 13 year old boy is now in a medically induced coma, recovering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Autopsy results now show that 24 year hold Ahmed Hassan died from multiple gunshot wounds.
All items left behind at the mall Saturday night, will be at Toronto Police 51 Division on Parliament Street.
Residents are asked to bring photo I.D. along with a support for the claim of articles left behind.
