UPDATE: Fatal Shooting At Eaton Centre

Police say they are close to an imminent arrest in the fatal Eaton Centre shooting.

Officials say eyewitness accounts and video surveilance have given investigators the needed evidence to pinpoint a suspect.

The victim, has been identified as 24-year-old Akhmed Hassan. Police believe he was a target and are looking into any gang connections.

As for the rest of the victims, all have been released from hospital with the exception of two,

The worst is a 23-year-old man who was shot multiple times in the neck and chest. He remains in critical condition.

As for the 13-year-old boy, he was visiting Toronto on a shopping trip with his family. He was shot in the head and is in critical but stable condition.

The Eaton Centre will open Monday, but the Urban Eatery food court, the scene of the crime, won't open until Tuesday.

A candlelight vigil for the victims is being held Sunday evening outside the closed doors of the mall.
