The Toronto Region Conservation Authority has denied Rob Ford's request to purchase a piece of land behind his house.
Ford was looking to buy the land, as a way to increase the security perimeter around his property, in an effort to better protect his home and family.
The issue, sparked a heated moment between the mayor and a Toronto Star reporter, when he was accused to being on the land in question, as a spy.
The parcel of land is city owned park land, and at a meeting today, the TRCA denied the sale of it.
