It's seen as another step towards having GO trains service their corridors on an all-day basis.
Bombardier's Thunder Bay plant has been awarded a contract to build 60 new bi-level trains, for use in the GTA.
Premier Dalton McGuinty was on hand for the announcement this morning.
The new cabs will arrive in spring 2015, and are said to be state of the art, with new features and enhancements.
