Scotiabank's landmark towere in downton Toronto has been sold for $1.27-billion. That is the highest price ever paid for a Canadian office building.
After rumours of international interest and having been on the market for several months,Toronto’s Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust partnered with H&R Real Estate Investment Trust to buy the 68-storey tower. T
The building will be two-thirds owned by Dundee, with H&R holding the remaining interest.
The bank says the deal is expected to close by June 20th
